For a December 2018 re-issue, the notable Nike Air Max 95 OG ‘Grey Gradient’ resurrects the classic grey-toned color palette. The sneaker draws influence from human anatomy by crafting the upper with white mesh covering the eyestay and lacing system—representing the ‘ribs’—and with the ‘muscle’ side panels highlighted in a light-to-dark grey gradient. The famous visible Air cushioning peeks out from within the midsole, including the visible forefoot windows original to the 1995 classic.:
